Sansec attended the 3rd Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum

The 3rd Dishui Lake China RISC-V Industry Forum was held in Shanghai. The forum gathered the essence of new domestic RISC-V products, and Sansec was invited to present the XT200 IoT security chip based on RISC-V at this forum.

Zhao Changsong, Director of R&D Center of Sansec, introduced the performance and application scenarios of XT200 on the spot.

Zhao Changsong introduced that XT200 IoT security chip is characterized by high performance, support for mainstream commercial cryptographic algorithms and other cryptographic algorithms, true random number generator, hardware security and unique chip serial number.

The chip is based on domestic 32-bit RISC-V processor design, with a maximum main frequency of 150MHz, supporting mainstream RTOS operating system;

In terms of algorithms, it supports the whole series of Chinese domestic cryptographic algorithms including SM1, SM2, SM3, SM4, SM7, SM9, ZUC, and mainstream international algorithms such as AES, DES, RSA2048, ECDSA, SHA256, etc., of which the signature performance of SM2 can be up to 10,000 times/second, the signature verification can be up to 3,500 times/second, and the encryption and decryption  of SM4 can be up to 70Mbps.

In addition, the chip is rich in application interfaces, supporting GMAC, USB, UART, SPI, I2C, CAN and other communication interfaces with high security level, and in line with the design of the Chinese cryptographic level 2 security chip, to meet the industrial-grade design;

It also supports blockchain-specific cryptographic algorithms ECDSA (secp256r1/secp256k1/Ed25519, etc.), which can be used to realize blockchain digital wallets and so on.

Overall, XT200 IoT security chip is a chip suitable for Data Security, Internet of Vehicle, Security Gateway, Industrial Internet, Blockchain and other sectors.
